Yey! Your little one is turning ONE! I know parents get excited about their baby's first birthday. There is a lot of preparation before their special day. But here are some tips and guidelines for booking a cake smash session with us to make your life a bit easier.
Booking should be made 1-2 months before their birthday, don't wait for them to start walking as it gets harder for them to sit or stay still longer. And then you have to chase them during the whole session.
The outfits are included for 1 to 2 years old. There are a lot of options for you in the studio that you can choose from.
We provide the themes, decorations, and outfits.
We don't provide the cake unless it's part of the package you have selected.
Cake is the most essential part of this session so it is better to match it with their theme. We always help our clients to choose the right cake before they place an order.
Things to bring
Extra clothes for your baby
Extra clothes for parents, just in case you'll get messy too =)
Favorite toys
Towel
Snacks
Wipes, diapers, food & water
Before leaving your house
Make sure to feed your baby before you leave your place.
Make sure they've had a nap so when you arrive in the studio your baby is in a good mood.
Change their nappy
Put on clothes that are comfortable for them and easy to remove when you change their outfit for their session.
We don't recommend bringing their own outfit for the session that does not match their theme as we have lots of options for them to choose from in the studio.
If your baby is teething it's best to give your baby a pain reliever before you leave or you can bring it with you and give it on the way to the studio.
Allergies
Before getting your baby a cake make sure they don't have any food allergies. You can ask the bakery for dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, or no eggs.
There are other ways to make your little one still enjoy their session by using donuts, watermelon, or spaghetti.
